My sisters are twins and while I don’t remember them having conversations like this, watching these two videos brings back an awful lot of memories.

I’d love to know what these two are thinking, there is so much non-verbal communications going on, and some of the hand gestures are hysterical. It’s not a true idioglossia though, just verbalization and mimicry, though they are definitely communicating. When I was ten I had a pair of twins as friends that most people couldn’t understand. They spoke very fast and left off leading consonents. but I could usually make out what they were saying, it wasn’t twin-talk, merely bad English reinforced by the each twin’s mimicry and ability to understand his sibling. I remember both of them demanding ickyooloop an okla-ilk in unison, and my mom looking at me totaly perplexed until I translated “Chicken Noodle Soup and Choclate Milk”.
